"What projects are you working on?
In other words, what do you think is the 'next big thing' on the Internet?"
That's what one of my subscribers asked me recently.
She thought I was a bit quiet lately and was wondering if I had any special projects plannned.
Ouch .... that was hitting the nail on the head!
Yes, I have several projects in the pipeline. Major Ones!
I don't mind revealing the projects I'm working on but ..... obviously some 'details' are left out until they are finalized.
Now, I don't have a 'crystal ball' - but since I live, eat and breath what happens online I do have a pretty good feel for where trends are headed. And that's why I'm busy developing these projects.
I thought you might be interested in my answer to this subscriber's question so I'm going to repeat it below for you.

1. Membership Site
I was thinking about a private membership area for some time. I have many great ideas, resources and products to include in a private area of my site and let members profit from it.But I never really had a good idea of how to set it up.
This summer holiday I've read Michael Rasmussen's "How to Start Your Own Highly Profitable Internet Membership Web Site", a really excellent book full of great advice on how to set this up.
Some may find this book a bit theoretical, but the advantage of that is that it covers everything from choosing your idea and business model to a detailed description of how to build your membership site and how to promote it.
That's how I came up with the right ideas for my Private Members Area.
It will be packed with valuable resources and I will even include video tutorials to show members how to do certain tasks that aren't obvious.
But the main focus will be on how to make money online. Therefore I will provide several products that members can promote and make money with. Most of these products will come with the marketing tools necessary for promotion.
Of course if I see possibilities I will make suggestions on how to improve things.
I will also include special reports that members can use to generate leads and build lists. Some of these reports will be unique and not available anywhere else.
Thus I hope to build a great members community.
2. E-Commerce Automation Package
Another BIG one.At this very moment (with the help of some great tech guys) I'm developing an e-commerce automation package that will contain:
- a full online product catalog
- a completely automated order and payment system
- a fully automated follow up system with autoresponders
- a complete affiliate management system
- a super tracking system
Once the system is fully tested I will get it online.
Monthly fees will be in the range of 59 to 79 dollars and I will add a great affiliate program to allow you to build a nice residual monthly income.
3. Easy Website Hosting
I've experimented a lot with my blog sites.One of them is Affordable Internet Marketing.
In the past (and still doing) I've instructed lots of people how to build their own websites. And although I've been quite successfull doing so, lots and lots of people still don't know how to do that or panic completely if they have to do or implement something new.
Some people will never learn or are not interested in how to build websites. They just want to fill and promote it without all the tech stuff.
What I've learned from blogging and RSS allows me to set up content driven websites in a flash.
I use the blog software to create this content management system in such a way that everybody, and I mean everybody, can build a website within hours.
You only need the content. Put it in a template, give it a header and push the Publish-button and voila .... another page on the Net.
Of course, before creating such sites, you'll need a great topic and domain name, but I will provide some super information on how to do that too.
My experience allows me to set these sites up in such a way, that they will be recognized by search engine spiders in no time and get indexed quite fast. Add some adsense to that, include a few great affiliate programs and you will be able to generate some extra income without ever knowing how to build websites.
That makes it possible for the users to spend most of your time developing content and products and concentrate on promoting the site. That's what lots of people want to do, no tech stuff, just selling what they've created.
This system will allow them to do so.
And there you have it. Three major projects that I'm currently working on.
I have some more on my sleeves, but these are the most important ones.
